The ACTICLOT® Protein C Resistance assay is a clot-based test for determining resistance to activated Protein C (aPC) caused by the Factor V Leiden gene mutation. The test distinguishes between homozygous, heterozygous and non carriers of the Factor V Leiden gene, thus reducing the need for molecular (PCR) testing.
